On Wednesday, September 25th, Saluda started feeling the early storm of Hurricane Helene. By Thursday, Helene had reached landfall and the destruction fell upon the southeast area. Western North Carolina had no idea of the destruction it would receive from this enourmous storm. When the storm had passed, and we could all assess the damages and the needs, the outpour of support was as monumental as the storm itself.

Everyone at the Saluda Pantry is grateful for the donations and volunteer support that has been provided.

We still have a long road ahead of us as our community members and everyone effected throughout Western North Carolina rebuilds and recovers. The Pantry is dedicated to help continue to collection donations – monitary and supplies – to help community members have the essentials they need. Thank you for continuing to help us with our cause.

We will update this page regularly to provide a list of supplies we are in need of.
